Year 7 Resources

Year 7 resources are divided into 6 big themes. There are a number of smaller enquiries which build towards answering the over arching enquiry
  1. How far did the Norman Conquest change England?
  2. Why were people prepare to risk their lives fighting those in power?
  3. Greed, Glory or God? Why is there still disagreement about Crusaders' motives?
  4. Location, Location, Location: Which was the better place to live, London or Baghdad?
  5. Say your prayers. How significant was the English Reformation?
  6. Angry Aztecs! Is this fair?

Year 8 Resources

Year 8 resources are divided into 6 big themes. There are a number of smaller enquiries which build towards answering the over arching enquiry

Reading for fun is a fantastic way to get a broad overview of history. These books have all been read and recommended by the staff at the Mount School in York. There are some really great reads here. Enjoy!!
