Considered one of the most important films in the history of silent pictures. The film tells the story of the mutiny on the Russian ship Prince Potemkin during the 1905 uprising. It is a fascinating insight into how Lenin and the early Bolsheviks wanted people to remember the Revolution and how they hoped to galvanise a largely apolitical population to support the Communist revolution.
